This worksheet applies a service minimum to pick & pack, storage, receiving, account and other service fees combined. Shipping and packaging are added afterward. Your contract may use a different basis. If it does, calculate the actual top-up separately, enter it under other fees and set the modeled minimum to zero.
Formula and comparison checklist
Monthly service fees = orders × pick & pack + storage + receiving + account + other. Minimum top-up = the greater of zero or minimum − service fees. Total = service fees + top-up + orders × (shipping + packaging).
- Request a shipping estimate for the same destinations, weights, dimensions and services.
- Check whether receiving, storage and packaging units mean the same thing.
- Add applicable returns, special projects and seasonal fees to other costs.
- Assess service commitments, onboarding and exit costs separately.
One-time setup costs, tax, financing and unentered fees are excluded. Volume tiers and changing inventory are not modeled. This tool does not establish which provider performs better.
